Jann Coppen, before becoming Co-owner and Executive Producer of theideashop, was the International Manager of Special Events and Corporate Sponsorship for M.A.C COSMETICS worldwide. There, she was responsible for the budgeting, development, and execution of international events related to fundraising, store openings, photo-shoots, celebrity appearances, fashion shows, promotions, product placement, and all media relations. It was during one of her 20 years of involvement, with Canada’s leading AIDS fundraiser, Fashion Cares that she, the Chair met the choreographer David Connolly and the rest is Event Production history.

Louise Johnson, theideashop’s Lead Project Manager and Executive Assistant, brings a very impressive background in dance, television, theatre and company management to the head table. Along with currently managing the tour of Disney’s popular children’s TV show The Doodlebops, theideashop relies on Louise for ongoing project management and logistics on several key client accounts. Louise’s keen eye for detail and imperturbable disposition make her a trusted client resource and an invaluable member of theideashop team.

Shawn Coppen is theideashop’s Production Manager with more than 15 years experience in event production, sponsor relations and silent and live charity auctions. Shawn has worked in nearly every capacity of events, from stage manager to event producer, and has provided seamless client services and on-site leadership to a broad range of clients. Shawn managed a successful $6 million capital campaign to build a new community centre in Toronto -- designing, organizing, and managing multiple corporate gala celebrity fundraisers with headlining entertainers such as Eartha Kitt, Joan Rivers, Sandra Bernhard and others.

Meghann Watson is consistently theideashop clients’ pick as Lead Décor Designer. The multi-disciplinary artist graduated from Emily Carr Institute of Art and Design in 2003 after studying sculpture and painting and majoring in photography. Building elaborate sets and costumes for photo shoots and music videos honed her skills in the ability to excavate a client’s desire and then create an environment that not only conveyed a message, but evoked a feeling. In addition to countless private functions, she has built sets for corporate events including Fashion Cares, ROM, Power Plant Art Gallery, Calvin Klein, Jlo Lingerie, Jaguar, and BMO.
