David Connolly is a highly experienced specialist who brought a unique skill set to the events world when he became Creative Director and Co-Founder of the now revered event production company, theideashop. His background as Broadway performer and award-winning producer/ director and choreographer not only made him a master of visualizing space but also an expert in understanding pace and flow, the importance of detail, and a practical, working knowledge of how to keep the promise of being 'on time' and 'on budget.'

Making the transition from entertainment to entertaining was natural and in no time theideashop gained a sparkling resume and outstanding, industry-wide reputation with the Special Events Community. It was this status that captured the attention of the producers of the television series, Rich Bride Poor Bride, who asked him to join their internationally syndicated show as a Wedding Planner.
